Court cuts crash ban

A driver who caused the death of a motorcyclist when she hit him while on the wrong side of the road, has had her driving ban cut on appeal.

Sabina Monroe, 44, was given a seven year ban and told she would be jailed at weekends for a total of 90 days, when she admitted the offence at Nottingham Crown Court in August.

While performing an overtake a witness described as “suicidal” she struck Marlon Davies, 42, knocking him into the path of a truck, which killed him – according to thisisnottingham.co.uk (click here for the full story, external site)
