Pitchfork poked at riders

A woman who walked out into the road pointing a pitchfork at passing motorcyclists managed to knock off one rider – injuring him and herself in the process.

Police say the 43-year-old woman was trying to slow down a group of bikes passing her home in Hastings, Michigan, US.

She is in critical condition while the Kawasaki Ninja rider is stable.

The incident, which happened on Sunday Aug 21, is still under investigation.
