1 of 1

The dates for the 2005 Centopassi event have been announced as July 21-24,2005, with a Ducati Multistrada 620 as the grand prize for the best rider overall.

The event has technical support from Ducati, and will run on the Western part of the Alps, with participants covering over a thousand miles. It begins in Cote d’Azure and ends in Val di Susa, with two classes for entries.

The Competition class is open to individuals or teams of three riders, covering an estimated 300-400km per day. The riders will have to cover a demanding route, and each day will have ability tests.

The Iron Biker class is for those who would rather be non-competitive and just want to see the stunning scenery. They’ll be accompanied by expert guides.

To take part in either class, you’ll need to be registered with the Italian Motorcycle Federation and hold a toursit licence, which can be obtained via the organisers, Dream Engine. A maximum of 140 entrants will be allowed into the Competition Class to compete for the Ducati Multistrada prize.
