Have you nearly had your head taken off by a flying piston? Or come close to having your wedding tackle singed after a carb tweak saw your airbox explode? Or perhaps spent £10k at the tuning shop, only to lose power. If so, we want to hear from you.

We are looking for the most disastrous tuning jobs ever for a forthcoming feature in MCN, highlighting the consequences of when an engine gets pushed past its limits and goes bang. If you’ve seen conrods bounce across the floor, clutch plates fill the air, or worse, let us know. It doesn’t have to be your engine, you might have been the one who had to duck behind the armco.
