Play it safe with Suzi Perry

National Motorcycle Safety Week starts this weekend at Squires Café, Sherburn, West Yorks. The week of activities culminates in an afternoon with sexy TV presenter Suzi Perry at the Ace Café in London, next Friday, April 2.

Sunday March 28: 10am-5pm, Launch Day at the bike meet at Squires Café, Sherburn, West Yorks. Day features: Assessed Rideouts with Yorkshire Advanced Motorcyclists, the North Yorkshire Police BikeSafe display unit, fundraising competition to assess the unsafe features of the Gold Rider Bike ‘Wot I Shouldn’t ride’, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance display stand, a display of converted bikes from the National Association for Bikers with a Disability (NABD), the Gold Rider Display Stand featuring giveaways and the Ride To Stay Alive information leaflets.

Monday March 29 Rideout from York at 7am to Lothian & Borders Police Headquarters for 1pm. Day features: a small group of bikers, led by General Legal Protection managing director Andre Scruton, will ride to Edinburgh to deliver the first supply of Ride To Stay Alive leaflets to the Police Bike Safe Scotland Co-ordinator Ken Brown

Tuesday March 30 Rideout from Southport at 9am to Glan-y-Don, Colwyn Bay Police Headquarters for 11am. Small group bikers, led by GLP managing director Andre Scruton, ride to North Wales to deliver a supply of Ride To Stay Alive leaflets to the Police BikeSafe National Project Manager Peter Coole

Wednesday, March 31. 5pm til late. NMSW Cuppa Night, Oakdene Cafe, Wrotham, Kent. Evening features: first 100 cups of coffee, tea and chocolate sponsored by Gold Rider, fundraising competition to assess the unsafe features of the Gold Rider Bike ‘Wot I Shouldn’t Ride’, videos and raffle

Thursday April 1. Rideout from Wrotham at 10am to Maidstone Police Headquarters at 10.30 am, departure from Maidstone Police Headquarters at 11.30 am to Winchester Police Headquarters at 1.30 pm, departure from Winchester Police Headquarters at 2.30 pm to Guildford Police Headquarters at 4pm. Day features: Small group bikers, led by GLP managing director Andre Scruton go on a ‘three counties rideout’ to deliver supplies of Ride To Stay Alive leaflets to the Police BikeSafe local co-ordinators based in Kent, Hampshire and Surrey

Friday April 2: 1pm-5pm. Gold Rider Charity Day, Ace Cafe London with TV Presenter Suzi Perry. Day features: Fundraising competition to assess the unsafe features of the Gold Rider Bike ‘Wot I Shouldn’t Ride’, opportunity to meet Suzi Perry, the Gold Rider display stand featuring giveaways and the Ride To Stay Alive information leaflets
