Bos launches cans for 04 RSV

Dutch firm Bos has launched oval race cans (that’s louder than your local traffic cops will like, then) for the 2004 Aprilia RSV 1000-R.

In dyno tests they raised power to 126bhp. The standard bike was making around 117bhp on the same dyno, according to UK distributor Fowlers.

The external sleeves are made from titanium while the stainless steel inner tube is wrapped in stainless steel wool and packed with pressure-resistant ceramic wool. End caps are titanium and wraps are stainless steel. They cost £599.99 for the pair.

A road legal version is available for an additional £20. You can choose anodised alloy for £539.99 (£559.99 in road legal trim).
