Desert ride raises £10K

A story on motorcyclenews.com proved the inspiration for nine riders to take part in an off-road charity run across the Sahara desert – raising £10,000 in the process.

Organiser Mungo Williams said: “It’s thanks to the article on the site that nine riders made the 8000 mile journey.”

They each rode Honda XR400s over the High Atlas mountains.
