Insurers predict ‘no big rises’

Your next insurance renewal won’t leave you reeling, according to market watchers.

A survey of the market reveals, ” premium increases are unlikely to be severe this year, ” according to one firm, ClickQuote.

The firm says prices are likely to remain relatively flat despite an increase in claims in 2003, particularly for those involving personal injuries. And that’s because of continued high levels of competition.

The company’s Jaye Ridley said that, despite the good news, riders should check how much a bike will cost them to cover before going out to buy.
