‘Ride 2 Work’ 2004 announced

The annual event designed to encourage everyone on to two wheels, Ride 2 Work day, will take place on July 21.

The Ride 2 Work campaign is organised by the Motor Cycle Industry Association (MCI) as a way to highlight the advantages of commuting by bike, including reducing journey times, pollution and congestion.

The MCI’s Craig Carey-Clinch said, ” Ride 2 Work is an opportunity to run fun events to show the local community and colleagues how motorcycling gives riders real benefits, and to help challenge preconceived idea about motorcyclists. ”
