Devil launches ’04 R1 exhausts

Exhaust firm devil has just released its Magnum underseat exhaust for the new 2004 Yamaha R1.

The Magnum is the latest design from the firm, with a slimline 95mm shape and large oval tailpipe. It’s fully road legal with removable baffles and comes in a choice of stainless steel (Magnum Inox), or carbon fibre (Magnum Carbon). Both versions come with a pair of stainless steel link pipes and mounting kit. And the standard R1 indicators and pillion pegs can be retained.

The Magnum Inox costs £480. The Magnum Carbon retails at £550.

Devil is also offering a de-cat pipe conversion, which simply removes the catalytic converter to release more power. It is manufactured in stainless steel and can be fitted with either Devil or the original exhaust. The de-cat is available from February 2004, and costs £80.
