Bonkers bike-balancing

Strongman John Evans has balanced a 115kg Honda CBR125RR on his head to raise money for the BBC Children in Need appeal and claim a new World Record.

Evans already holds more than 30 world records for head balancing, but had never tried a £2,500 motorbike before, which combined with his headstand, weighed 130kg. Viewers were encouraged to pledge money before the attempt would be made, and the BBC West Midlands region raised £705,816 on the night, including a cheque for £1513.26 from Avondale Honda, who also supplied the CBR125RR.
