Prize for Croft opinions

North Yorkshire County Council will survey riders at the British Superbike round at Croft circuit this weekend, and one winner will receive a Shoei XR1000 Kagayama replica, signed by the Rizla Suzuki riders John Reynolds and Yukio Kagayama.

The North Yorkshire road safety team will be asking for practical suggestions on how the council can improve the life of motorcyclists and the prize will go to the person behind the most practical suggestion.

“We want to talk to bikers about their attitude to riding and their own personal experiences relating to biking,” said road safety officer David Lindsay. “The first 150 people who take five minutes to answer the questions will also receive a free road safety video.”

But don’t think this means sympathy if you speed on the way to Croft. Six police forces have joined together this weekend for a clampdown on speeding in the area, despite only 32 of the 245 ‘extreme’ speeders currently under prosecution actually being caught riding a bike. Find out more about the clampdown, here.

Do you believe the council are interested in using your opinions in a positive way when six police forces will be patrolling outside the circuit? Post your thoughts, here.
