If you want to take advantage simply email us the video file (ideally in mpeg, Quicktime, RealMedia or AVI formats) and we’ll add it to our site. The file size should be no more than 4MB. Even video shot on a suitably equipped mobile phone or digital camera will do the trick – and give you a ready made easy-to-send file.

Your video could offer potential buyers a complete all-round guide to your bike (and how it goes!).

Send your video ad to us at mcn.online@emap.com with ‘Video’ in the subject line. We regret we cannot accept video via any other route.

You must place your ad first. Then ask us to add a link to video.

Tell us your ad reference number (it’s a number given to you in the ad booking process) and we’ll make sure there’s clear directions to the video you supply, from your bike’s ad online. You might like to use the extra online words you get free when placing your ad online, to tell potential buyers that they can take a virtual tour of your bike. Or tell people in your newspaper ad that they can see video of your bike on motorcyclenews.com

We’ll feature the best ones on the front of the site, too – so your ad will get an even higher profile..

The content of the video is up to you (within reason) – you’ll be shooting and editing it after all. Perhaps you want to show your bike in action, or record the sound of its exhaust? Perhaps you’d rather have a walk around the bike pointing out its best features? If there is minor damage, you can show the extent. Or just try making your buyer laugh. It’s your show.
