Foggy to star in I’m A Celebrity

Carl Fogarty is the surprise addition to the line-up for the next season of TV’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

The former WSB champion and current WSB team boss will be put through a series of jungle challenges as millions of TV viewers tune in. His antics will be broadcast several times a day on ITV1 with additional footage on ITV2.

Foggy said: ” I have nothing to fear from this kind of thing. I used to eat the likes of Scott Russell for breakfast on the track… I’m sure I can deal with all kinds of creepy crawlies and snakes in the grass in someone’s back yard in Oz. ”

Foggy will be going up against Sven Goram Eriksson’s partner Nancy Dell’Olio, soccer bad boy Lee Bowyer, Coronation Street’s Ken Barlow (Bill Roach), Victoria Beckham, soul legend James Brown, politician Tony Ben and…one other mystery celebrity the program makers have yet to reveal.
