Charity attempt is a load of balls

1 of 1

Nick Steed will be hoping for plenty of balls-ups when he attempts to collect as many Velcro-covered tennis balls to his boots and kneesliders at the Rockingham race circuit on November 7.

He’ll be attempting to raise money for the NABD (National Association for Bikers with Disabilities) by using Velcro-coated boots and kneesliders to pick up balls from the apex of each of the circuit’s 12 corners.

You can sponsor Nick for £3, and this includes your chance to guess how many balls Nick will collect in his hour session. All correct answers will be entered into a draw to win prizes including a free HOTTRAX trackday, a Hein Gericke Tribal paddock jacket, and a bike intercom courtesy of Royal Green Furniture. These are just some of the goodies being donated by companies supporting the event.

An hour of track time has been donated by Motor Cycle News and Performance Bikes around lunchtime on Friday, for Nick to attempt his challenge on his CCM R30. The prize draw takes place on November 11 at Dillons Whistlin Jog in Stockport.

For more info, contact Nick on 0161-4774678, or email smcc@xploiter.com. Alternatively visit the NABD website at www.nabd.org.uk
