£150,000 of bike gear up for auction

1 of 1

Over £150,000 of clothing and accessories are up for auction on Friday November 21 and 28 due to the liquidation of Rawhide Accessories Warehouse, Nottingham.

The auction includes approximately 500 leather and all-weather jackets, 200 all-in-one leather suits, over 700 motorbike helmets, plus other kit including locks, rucksacks, waterproofs and bags. All the stock is in very good condition and much is still boxed and packed. Many of the lots are for individual items.

At a previous auction, jackets were going for around £50, one-piece leathers for £60 and OGK helmets with a retail price of £150 were being sold for as low as £30.

The auction is at James Shipstone House, New Basford, Nottingham, with viewing taking place from 1pm. The bidding starts at 6pm. You’ll need to pay £20 for a bidding number, but this is refunded at the end of the day. If you purchase something the £20 is deducted from the price.

And if you can’t make it to Nottingham, you can place a commission bid. Inform the auctioneers how much you wish to pay for an item, and they’ll place the bids on your behalf. To find out more, contact John Pye and Sons by emailing info@johnpye.co.uk or call 0115-9706060.
