The ultimate tyre guide

The Ultimate Tyre Guide is free with this week’s MCN. The 12-page guide focuses on sports tyres, with two riders testing 15 sets of tyres over three days to give you the verdict you can trust.

We also enlisted the help of two tyre technicians with over 30 years experience between them, and technical guru Bob Gray, a data-logging expert who has worked with the Jaguar Formula One team.

The testing took place at the Croft circuit, with a Honda CBR600RR and Suzuki GSX-R1000 testing two classes of tyre, sports and performance sports.
