Use the hedges

To enjoy the country roads a bit more watch the direction of the bordering hedgerows, as these will allow you to gauge the direction that the road is turning when you cannot normally see the road ahead.

Country lanes nearly always have bordering hedges and using this technique enables you to set yourself up for the next corner well in advance and gives you lots of extra confidence.
