Motorcycle escort ends in pond

Just as in the UK, in America, police motorcycle officers undergo rigorous training. Which is why it’s quite surprising that Officer Darren Powell rode off an on-ramp and into a pond.

Powell was escorting four coaches carrying the Notre Dame football team when the accident happened in Jacksonville, Florida. The cause is not yet known, and there was no collision with any of the buses. Powell was taken to hospital and treated for a broken wrist.
