Hasselhoff was riding his 2003 Harley-Davidson when a gust of wind caused him to lose control. The bike collided with a curb, throwing the 50-year-old actor into a lamp-post. Hasselhoff fractured his lower back and ribs in the crash. His wife Pamela, who was riding pillion, landed on the soft shoulder of the road, suffering a fractured ankle and wrist.
