More "Speeding bikers" on BBC1

Tonight, September 23, viewers in the Yorkshire region will be the latest audience to be exposed to yet more ” speeding bikers ” thrills courtesy of the BBC.

At 7.30pm ” Inside Out ” , the Corporation’s regional programme will feature a segment that advises watchers to: ” Put on your leathers and rev up your bike! We’re off to look at superbikes speeding on Yorkshire and Lincolnshire’s roads! ”

So, a balanced and in no way sensationalist piece of reportage can be expected obviously.

It was the West Midlands edition of Inside Out that recently brought us the factually questionable ” Speeding bikers ” segment – the programme that famously carried an interview with a man who claimed to regularly ride at 230mph on the region’s roads.

A claim which went unchallenged by makers of the programme, but not by users of motorcyclenews.com, the police or anyone with even the vaguest notion of production motorcycles and their top speeds. Click on the link on the right to read more about that story.
