The UK’s bikers are big-hearted people. You’ve given your sweat and tears to worthy causes like MCN’s campaigns for black visors, against diesel spills and governmental meddling. Now we’d like you to go one step further – give blood.

The National Blood Service (NBS) is beginning a new campaign to encourage new donors – and they urgently need your help.

Currently, around two million people donate their blood to the National Blood Service. However, this is just six per cent of the eligible population. Yet the demand for blood never stops.

In fact, the NBS needs 10,000 units of blood every day to make sure patients get the life saving treatments they require.

Donation is easy, quick and painless and it’s for the best possible cause. From dropping in to one of the countrywide donor sessions to walking out again takes under an hour. But that hour spent goes a long way to saving life – and one day it could even be yours.
