Win a £299 Bike Guard alert system

1 of 1

We’ve got a fantastic prize to give away in our Christmas competition, which starts today. Answer a simple question and you could have an MST Bike Guard alert system worth £299 fitted to your bike.

The MST Bike Guard system is a new kind of bike alarm – it can text you from anywhere in Europe if someone tampers with your pride and joy.

And, thanks to its ingenious mobile phone technology, you can even send one back instructing your alarm’s siren to sound, shut up or activate any electrical device that’s wired into the bike’s loom.

Movement or a low battery is enough to trigger the Bike Guard and your text response dictates what the bike does next, from switching the alarm off to cutting the ignition.

All you need is a mobile phone for the system to work, the Bike Guard even comes with £10 worth of credit on its own Orange pay-as-you-go account, enough for around 100 messages to start with.

It’s a simple enough system to fit, but to make it even simpler, the winner will have his, or her, Bike Guard fitted free by one of MST’s engineers.

To win this prize simply visit MST’s website: www.mstinternational.com, click on the Battery Guard icon and tell us the answer to this question: What is Battery Guard?

You’ll find the answer at the top of the Battery Guard page.

Your answer must be taken word for word from the MST website to be considered.

E-mail your entry to daniel.thornton@emap.com. It must have ” Bike Guard comp ” in the subject line or it will be disregarded. One entry per user. The competition closes, noon, December 14, 2002 the winner will be announced 5pm on the same day.

The winner will be picked at random. Usual MCN rules apply. You MUST include a daytime telephone number with your e-mail.
