Ducati wins design trophy

Ducati have won the 2002 Motorcycle Design Trophy for the 749/999. The Motorcycle Design Awards are given annually to the most outstanding designs, with four categories and the Trophy for best overall.

The Supersport category was won by Ducati for the 749/999. Motorcycle (Open category) when to Kawasaki with the Z1000. The Peugeot 125 Jetforce took the honours in the Scooters & Commuters class, and in the Concept Bikes class KTM were victorious with the KTM 950 Duke.
