V&M plans Max power for your R1

Plans for replica British superbikes have been unveiled by most of the top teams representing Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda. But you might just want to hold on until V&M releases its exclusive MotoGP Max Biaggi replica kit.

V&M boss Jack Valentine has said he’s just weeks away from finalising the styling of a bodykit which he claims will ” be just like the new generation of GP bikes ” , tailored to fit every Yamaha R1 barring the 2002 fuel injected model.

The body kits can be allied to V&M’s entire tuning range so owners specify their own level of spec. Valentine said: ” What we want to do is let the people who want something special – but don’t fancy getting a new bike – have something really trick.

” We haven’t set prices for this yet, but we want them to be competitive and good

value for money. We reckon they’ll be ready close to the NEC Show. ”
