See stunt tribute to Eddie Kidd

1 of 1

Stunt riders are paying tribute to a legend in the Eddie Kidd Stunt Spectacular at the Bike Live Show this weekend. And Eddie will be there too.

Kidd may use a wheelchair to get around these days after being paralysed when a jump went wrong at the 1996 Bulldog Bash, but he can still operate the controls of a quad bike – and that’s what he’s planning to ride into the Stoneleigh Park arena.

He’ll be joined by wheelie guru Jason Finn, plus fellow stunt riders Sonnie Ferguson and Neil Porter, in Hall One at 1pm on Saturday and Sunday.

There’ll also be appearances from other performers, including one who stoppies a Ural sidecar outfit! If you want more stunts, you can see two other Michelin-sponsored shows at 11am and 3pm each day. Gorgeous Bike Live Babes will be on hand and the UK Centrefolds will also be putting on a raunchy act.

On Sunday Kawasaki WSB star Chris Walker will make an appearance and you can also walk round dozens of trade stalls and see the latest bikes, too.

Walker will also be at the Everything But Bikes open day on Saturday in Chester from 10am. Details: 01244–377555.

Details: Stoneleigh Park is just off the A46 between Coventry and Warwick. The show is open from 9.30am to 5.30pm on Saturday and Sunday and costs £10 for adults and £6 for senior citizens and children between five and 15. The MCN BikeMart Fortnightly bike park provides free, covered parking and there’s free car parking.
