Update (April 9)

Coleman has asked MCN to pass on his request for protest stewards.

He told MCN: ” Things are going realy well, the flow of registrations is still good and I’m confident we can deliver a real shock to the Government. What I really need now is volunteers to help me co-ordinate the estmiated 1000+ riders we’re expecting to descend on the capital. ”

Update (March 27):

” We are on a wave. The rate of registration is growing rapidly. We’re on target for over 1000 riders with another five weeks left for more to sign up.We have even got support from groups and media organisations as far afield as France, USA, Malaysia and the Philippines.

” We’re looking into the possibility a PA outside Parliament and even live bands. I’m looking into the meeting points, so far Box Hill & Ace Cafe are looking likely.

The plan is still to circulate in one direction on the M25 before forming up at the meeting points for several Protest rides into London. It is my plan to create a dossier of our concerns that will be presented to Mr. Meacher personally.

” I am no longer able to answer all emails personally because of numbers, but keep them coming because I will definitely read and take note and to continue the registrations.
