You criticise "ugly" Speed Four

So far it’s a big thumbs down to Triumph’s new Speed Four from users of our TALK BIKES bulletin boards.

sdb01 said: ” Yikes this bike is just terribly wrong. Please take it away from my eyes. It is just too difficult to look at. Triumph have pretty much gone down hill in there motorcycle development. ”

Spacehog jibed: ” It’s a right a real crock of sh*te. And only £6000 otr. Bargain, when you can have a 900 Hornet for the same or the 600 Hornet for £2000 less. Yeah I’ll definitely buy one.

Geriatric joked: ” Pity they didn’t bring it out earlier. It might have beaten the flashing lights for the Turner prize. I look at it and it just says “motorcycle” It embodies the yearning of modern man to free himself from the constraints of plastic. To cry out “look I stand here before you naked and f**king ugly”

But there are voices of dissent. Nickwsmith, posted: ” It looks pretty good to me. How should Triumph have made it look then ? Like any of other the faired Japanese bikes!(with the exception of the sv650)? It looks like a street fighter should and with a bit of luck it will out handle any of the opposition. We should support our local bike industry! Three cheers for Triumph.
