Wolf Carbon Oval

IF you want your can to last, even if you drop the bike while paddling around those grassy car parks at summer races, you should look at the Wolf. Instead of being punctured by a load of holes, the can is held together by bolts at the inlet end and is fully re-buildable. Wolf claims this makes it a lot stronger than other designs and gives it a lifetime warranty. Under the carbon sleeve is a two-stage ceramic absorption layer for extra heat protection, and if you drop it there’s a repair service. Options include round titanium at £229 and stainless oval at £179. There’s a claimed 5bhp gain and it’s not road-legal.
