Did you buy a new bike in 2001?

We’re looking for owners who bought one of the most popular five bikes in the UK in 2001 for a special feature in MCN.

We’re awaiting official confirmation, but there will be much munching of hats around here if the top five (excluding scooters) doesn’t include Honda’s CBR600 and FireBlade, Suzuki’s GSX-R600, the Kawasaki ZX-6R and the Yamaha Fazer 600.

The top five bikes of 2000 were: Yamaha R6 (4233), Yamaha R1 (3404), Honda CBR600 (3231), Kawasaki ZX-6R (3100), Yamaha Fazer 600 (2476).
