Aprilia kit gives Falco more fight

Aprilia is offering an aftermarket kit for its V-twin Falco which bosses say will give it streetfighter-style and loads more grunt.

Aprilia UK’s Paul Walker said: ” As it is, the Falco wheelies whether you want it to or not. With high bars and some more torque from the new cans, I think it will be the king of the wheelie V-twins. ”

The kit results in a machine that closely resembles Yamaha’s Fazer 1000.

It will consist of bars, clamp, nose fairing, front brake kit, airbox kit, radiator intakes, disc brake scoop, steering damper, mudguard and hugger, bellypan, numberplate holder, end-cans and chip, passenger footrests and hanger, plus anodised indicators.

The plastic panels have all been made from chromed plastic and all metal parts are aluminium. The new end-cans boost power from 114bhp to 118bhp.

The whole lot will cost £2054 including VAT when it reaches this country next month, but the parts can be bought separately.
