1 of 1

The strictly limited run of 25 Joey Dunlop replica SP-1s has now been sold. The only way you now have of getting hold of one is to bid in the MCN auction for the exclusive no26.

It has taken less than a month for every one of the £14,300 bikes to be sold and according to Tippetts Motors, the shop dealing with the sales, the majority of them have gone to Ireland. A reserve list has already been started and three disappointed buyers are waiting to see if anyone drops out.

Bids for No26 already stand at £20,000. Bidding will remain open until May 31, 2002, the Friday before the F1 race of the 2002 TT, with the highest bidder being presented with the bike after the race.

Postal bids should be sent to: Joey Dunlop Sp-1 Auction, c/o Emma Maddison, MCN, Media House, Lynch Wood, Peterborough Business Park, PE2 6EA. Include your name, contact details and bid.

Alternatively e-mail emma.maddison@emap.com with ” Joey Auction ” in the subject line and include similar details.
