ChiPs set to return

The adventures of the California Highway Patrol could soon return.

Film director Doug Liman, who directed ” The Bourne Identity ” , has been signed to work on the remake, which will transplant the heroes to San Francisco. Two scripts are currently being developed for the show, tentatively called ChiPs SFO.

Although Rick Rosner, the creator of the 70’s show is back on board, sadly Ponch and Jon, played by Erik Estrada and Larry Wilcox, won’t be returning.
