Spot ‘dpc’ on tour on Tuesday

1 of 1

WHERE is MCN’s David Cushman today? He’s touring Scotland on his ZZ-R1200 and if you spot him you could be in with a chance of a great prize.

All you have to do is go up to him at one of his frequent stops, hand over your name, address and daytime contact details and you’ll be entered in the draw.

And if you’re already talking to him, take a moment to tell ‘dpc’ (that’s his user name on the site) what you think MCN and motorcyclenews.com should be doing better, and what it should stop doing altogether.

Dpc is riding his long term test ZZ-R1200, a silver one with hard panniers on. He’s wearing an Alpinestars all-weather jacket in red and black and an Arai Astro lid in red/grey/white.

Today he’ll be leaving Tighnabruaich around 9am to head west to Portavadie to catch the 09:45 ferry to Tarbert. Look out for him on the coast road west of Tarbet round Kilberry Head and the A83 to Lochgilphead or the B8025 for a planned lunch stop at the Tayvallich Inn at Tayvallich.

The afternoon promises a twisty run on the A816 past standing stones, past Kilmartin to Kilninver before turning west on the B844 to Easdale to have a look at the Mull. Then it’s north to the distillery at Oban (well, you would, wouldn’t you?).

Dpc will be staying in Oban overnight and we’ll give you details of where you might find him for a pint later today.

Keep checking back for updates on his progress throughout today and the rest of the week.
