This is the first picture to be released by Triumph from inside its rebuilt Hinckley plant following the devastating fire that swept it in March earlier this year.

It shows the new engine assembly line, and demonstrates just how far the company has come in the hundred days since the disaster.

Triumph has been working around the clock to get production re-started, and looks set to meet its self-imposed target of the end of September.

Triumph’s managing director, Karl Wharton, says: ” We’re delighted. A great deal has been achieved in the first 100 days of our rebuilding programme. ”

With the framework, brickwork and roofing now complete, Triumph says it is now is able to concentrate on fitting out individual areas of the factory to create the new assembly line.
