In the latest issue of MCN, out Wednesday July 31, we’ve got an exclusive look at what Honda have planned for its 2003 super-middleweight CBR600.

Using information provided by factory insiders we’ve been able to generate an image that’s ” extremely close ” to the real thing according to our source.

The bike draws on Valentino Rossi’s all-conquering MotoGP RCV V5 four-stroke for inspiration, and takes the new bike into an even more aggressive look than the current Sport version.

Also in this week’s MCN is the track test of the UK’s ultimate R1s. Two BSB-spec versions of the Virgin Yamaha bike, including Steve Plater’s machine and the Virgin R1 you can buy for the road get thrashed around MCN Donington Park.

You won’t want to miss our guide to getting the best deals on buying a bike – the ins and outs of finance and how to avoid the pitfalls when raising the readies.

Buell’s Firebolt and BMW’s R1150GS Adventure get the long-term treatment and there’s even, Lord help us, a road test of a £35,000 Harley V-Rod trike.

If Harleys are your thing, then our buying and owning guide to the firm’s iconic Fat Boy is definitely for you, but if brute force is what you crave then our road test of Crescent Suzuki’s GSX1400 provides more beef than South America.

There’s all the latest gear tested, seven day of things to do in our ” What’s On ” guide and our 16 page Brands WSB special looks back at the highlights of the biggest day in British bike sport.

The new MCN is out Wednesday July 31. Don’t miss it.
