Bike sales are warming up

BRITAIN’S bike dealers are reporting booming sales as the weather prompts potential buyers into the showrooms.
The UK’s biggest bike chain Carnell/City reported sales figures of 1500 over the weekend – more than double the average sales figure for a Saturday and Sunday.
And smaller dealers are also shifting large numbers of bikes. Tony Moore, of Essex dealer Motorcycles and Moore, said: ” It’s been a blinding weekend. The weather’s helped, but good deals on 2002 machines have played their part. ”
