IT’S supposed to be the highlight of your season – the moment you meet your hero. You’ve queued for the pit lane walkabout, jostled for position in the crowd, blagged a pen and poster and primed your mate with his happy snapper to capture the moment for your mantlepiece – and the muppet chops your heads off.
