Schwarzenegger in bike accident

Arnold Schwarzenegger might be famous for his bike chases in the films Terminator II and True Lies, but this time the action happened off-screen. The 54-year-old Harley rider has been injured in a motorcycle accident over the weekend.

Arnie has broken several ribs, but is otherwise ok, and is resting in hospital in Santa Monica, California.

And chat show host Jay Leno has been loaned a Y2K jet bike for testing. Leno, more usually at home on a Harley, will find the 350bhp brute quite a handful.
