GERMANY: SPOTTED in German magazine Motorrad is this clever pooch. Not content with jumping through tyres this dog rides a bike as part of the Police motorcycle display team.

BANGLADESH: POLICE have uncovered a human skeleton smuggling ring. The smugglers are using bikes to transport the bones of young people over the boarder to India where it is believed they contain medicinal properties.

AMERICA: YOU may worry about thieves breaking into your garage to steal your bike, but trying to pinch the whole garage? Two thieves in Detroit managed to lift a two car aluminium building on to the back of their truck before it slipped off the other side and ended up in the street. The thieves managed to escape despite neighbours giving chase.

HOME: VILLAGERS in Abbotsley, Cambs, have taken the law into their own hands to discourage speeding through their village. They have dressed a scarecrow in a police jacket, complete with wooden radar gun, to fool motorists into slowing down.
