Can police stop you for emissions?

Q. We know the police can do you for a noisy exhaust, but have they ever done anyone for excessive emissions on aftermarket exhausts?

A. Not as far as we’re aware. The police don’t have any testing kit as it’s not yet a legal requirement for motorcycle exhausts to meet emissions standards.
