Where can I get exhaust packing material?

Q. I have extracted the pipe baffles out of the tail pipe of a Suzuki TS250L and noticed the wadding has completely disappeared.

Can anyone recommend a suitable replacement, or where I may be able to pick up an original?

A. Look in your yellow pages for an exhaust place near to you, they have the fibreglass packing in abundance and you’ll pick some up cheaply.

Failing that any local bike spares store will be able to get it for you, typically called “baffle packing”.
