Best tyre for a Triumph Daytona 675

Q. I would like some advice on the best tyre for a 2009 Triumph Daytona 675. It currently has Pirelli Supercorsas but they are not very practical if it rains.

Can you advise on a suitable tyre for fast road riding but having grip for when the rain interrupts play.

I am considering Avon VP2 Supersport or Dunlop Qualifiers and would welcome your input.

A. The Avons are as high-performance as the Supercorsas so there’s not a lot to be gained there.

However the Dunlop Qualifiers are a good option for inclement weather, as are the Metzeler Roadtec Z6 Interacts.
