Best tyres for a Suzuki GSX-R600 SRAD

Q. What are the best tyres to use on a Suzuki GSX-R600 SRAD? My Pirelli Dragon Supercorsas need replacing in time for the first sunny day of next year.

A. If you were on the Supercorsa Pros, you could try the SPs. Other options would be the Metzeler Racetec, Avon Viper Extreme or Michelin Power One.

But if you are getting 5000 miles out a rear tyre I’d say you are a pretty easygoing rider who isn’t heavy on the throttle or the brakes, so maybe you’d be better off with a good sports/touring tyre, instead of hypersport rubber.

You know Pirellis, so why not experiment with some less ‘intense’ rubber from the same firm.

We’ve heard good things from Pirelli Diablo Stradas, with good feedback and wear rate as well as a track day or two handled successfully.
