Best tyres for a BMW K1300GT

Q. I’m looking to replace the tyres on my BMW K1300GT. The ones currently fitted have a special “UU” rating for this bike.

A. The “UU” means that they are the original equipment tyres, fitted to the bike when it was new.
Looking at the latest generation of sports touring tyres, we’d suggest either the Dunlop Roadsmarts, Pirelli Angel STs or the new Bridgestone BT-023s.
