Vespa handlebar lock does away with chains

1 of 3

Locks and chains are the preferred security device for many motorcyclists and scooter riders, but they’re heavy and quickly get grubby when you’re threading them through your wheels everyday, which is why Vespa have released this handlebar lock.

One end of the armour-plated cable is fixed to a bracket under the seat, and the other end is locked to the handlebar, preventing the scooter from being ridden or pushed away, unless they want to keep going in circles. When the lock is not in use it is fixed between the seat and footrest.
