The revamped Tornado Advance range is made from a windproof material called Defender on the forward-facing surface and it’s also water- resistant to a degree to help block out small leaks that get through your outer layers.

The other material is the more flexible Thermolite, which is thermal and quick-drying. The range, includes tops, trousers (£39.99), balaclavas (£16.99), neckwarmers (£16.99) and liner gloves (£16.99) and comes in a new grey colour.
