MCN Premium membership subscribers were treated to two money-can’t-buy experiences across the Devitt MCN London Motorcycle Show weekend, which took place in the capital at the start of 2023.

The indoor event ran from February 17 – 19, with those paying for MCN’s £13.99/month Premium membership getting two free tickets to the show.

“I just thought it’s better to subscribe every month. It’s cheaper and it’s got more benefits,” Premium member and Yamaha XSR125 rider, Ramon Browne told MCN. “I’ll try to come to as many events as I can.”

Alongside the entry perks, there was also the chance to get up close and personal with TT lap record holder Peter Hickman at an exclusive Q&A, as well as attend a Ducati event at the top of The Gherkin in central London.

We caught up with Ramon Browne following the Peter Hickman experience, which took place on Friday evening after the show closed.

Hosted by MCN’s Sports Editor, Michael Guy, the multiple TT and BSB race winner discussed differences between racing on the roads and short circuits, fielded questions from the audience, and shared his future racing plans.

“It was a great day,” echoed Tooting-based reader Nicole Glasgow. “We got to see bikes we wouldn’t get to see normally then this was a wonderful surprise.

“I am sure a lot of people would be jealous that we got to have an intimate chat with Peter Hickman. I’ll come again.”

Alongside hearing from Hicky, five pairs of tickets were also given out to attend an exclusive Ducati event at the top of The Gherkin, for the official UK launch of the £23,595 Diavel V4.

The evening included a live DJ, cocktails and a selection of canapes – with famous attendees including TV personality Richard Hammond and four-time WSB champion Carl Fogarty.
