Ducati Streetfighter V2S

Tested by Michael Neeves

I’ll be living with two Ducatis this year. For the first few months I’ll be hooning around on the new Streetfighter V2 S and after that I’ll be getting some two-up touring in on the new Multistrada V2 S. I haven’t ridden either yet, so I’m looking forward to seeing how the shiny new V2 engines perform in the real world.

It’ll be my fourth Streetfighter, after the original ’09 1089 version, the ’12 848 and fire-breathing ’20 V4. The new V2 S will be the least powerful of the lot, but it’s nice and light and if the new Panigale V2 S I rode at its launch recently is anything to go by, it won’t be dull. I think Streetfighters are the prettiest of all the super-nakeds, too.
