Yamaha’s FZR750R, codenamed OW-01, was a race bike made for the road as opposed to a road bike made for the track. Only 500 were built of which only 140 of those were officially imported into Britain. Our bike was produced and registered in the UK in April 1991 and is number 108 of the 500 that were built. It has covered just 5,038 miles and has had just three previous owners prior to its most recent who bought the bike in March 2006. The bike has recently undergone a full nut and bolt mechanical and cosmetic rebuild carried out by Alspeed Motorcycles with in excess of £12,000 spent on bringing the bike to its original specification. The bike is supplied with a crate of spare parts, original tool kit, both keys, rebuild invoices and various old magazine/newspaper articles featuring the OW-01.
